Nike Unveils the 2024 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection

Nike introduces the 2024 Doernbecher Freestyle collection of footwear and this marks the 20th milestone of the capsule. The sportswear giant has been working together with Doernbecher Children's Hospital to create a special capsule to honor this anniversary. The collection is comprised of six new sneakers designed by patients.

This includes a "Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41, Nike Sabrina 2, Nike Air Max SNDR, Nike Air 180, Nike Air Max DN, and Air Jordan 6 Retro." All of the sneakers from the lineup celebrate the designers' personal interests and also honor their medical journeys as well. For example, the Air Jordan 6 sneaker by Jullian Beagley nods to her love of sports -- the 14-year-old selected the basketball shoes detailed with interchangeable patchwork of her favorite things: basketball, lacrosse, and cucumbers.
