Plastic Flats from Kartell and Normaluisa Channel Disney Heroine

— February 14, 2009 — Fashion
Two Italian designers partnered to create a gorgeous ballerina flat shoe that was inspired by Cinderella’s infamous glass slippers. Kartell, a furniture designer, and Normaluisa, a fashion designer, created the design together.

Kartell designers use plastics and injection-molding technology in many of their designs. And Normaluisa’s latest clothing line was inspired by Cinderella’s story. It’s a partnership made in Disney heaven.

The flats are available in a transparent and opaque color combination or two opaque color combination. Added benefit: By nature, plastic shoes are rain-proof!
