Wawa is Celebrating its 60th Anniversary This Wawa Day

Wawa is encouraging consumers to stop on by to this year's Wawa Day celebration to help it celebrate its 60th anniversary with a complimentary cup of coffee.

The retailer is expecting to give away almost 1.5-million cups of coffee during Wawa Day -- April 16, 2024 -- across its entire operating network. The brand will also see a variant of 60s-inspired decor accents being adopted to transform the retail locations into a blast from the retailer's past. The brand will even be running some 60-cent promotions that harken back to yesteryear with ample savings for today's consumer to appreciate.

CEO Chris Gheysens spoke on this year's Wawa Day celebrations saying, "As we celebrate this momentous 60th anniversary milestone, we want to thank our customers and associates for creating the unforgettable connections that have propelled us through the years and have allowed us to continue to go beyond filling orders, to fulfilling lives every day.
