Mizuno and Highsnobiety Drop a New Wave Rider 10 Sneaker

Mizuno works in collaboration with Highsnobiety on a new iteration of the iconic Wave Rider 10 sneaker model for the season. It is set to officially launch on December 2nd and retains most of the technical silhouette.

Lead Product Designer of the silhouette Tuan Le states that "This Wave technology was the opposite of what Nike Air was, Nike Air was a big air bag that cushioned the impact of running but the Wave Plate stretches out upon impact and propels the runner forward as it returns to its regular waved shape.” It is inspired by the sportswear world with the expertise that is drawn from high-speed running shoes fused with the comfort of lifestyle sneakers.
