Glow Recipe's New Watermelon Glow Dew Shield SPF 30 Formula Wont Pill

Glow Recipe has reformulated its 'Watermelon Glow Dew Shield Hydrating Fluid SPF 30' sunscreen to address consumer concerns over pilling while delivering on the signature K-beauty trifecta of hydration, lightweight wear, and seamless absorption.

First introduced in 2022, the original sunscreen received rave reviews for its glow-boosting results, but users expressed concerns about how the formula layered under makeup. Listening closely to feedback, Glow Recipe returned to the lab and re-engineered the product with an optimized texture -- removing white cast and stickiness while enhancing its compatibility with skincare and cosmetic routines.

The new formula combines UV filters (Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate) with skincare-grade actives, including niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and watermelon extract, to hydrate, firm, and brighten the skin while shielding against UVA and UVB rays. Co-founders Sarah Lee and Christine Chang emphasized the brand's commitment to transparency and scientific integrity, highlighting clinical testing, FDA-mandated protocols, and safety evaluations across all age groups.
