New York City-based watch website HODINKEE has partnered with Timex to launch their first dive watch, the Waterbury HODINKEE Limited Edition.
The sleek new watch features a 40mm × 13mm Waterbury dive case with minimalist, downward-facing lugs, a vintage Waterbury Clock Company logo, and a screwed-down case back. In addition, the watch delivers a fully graduated aluminum bezel and a luminous pip at the zero markers.
Inside the glass crystal, the new timepiece features a textured black dial with printed hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova for added luminosity. Meanwhile, there are three rounded Arabic numerals at three, six, and nine o'clock, adding to its vintage aesthetic. The watch sports a Miyota 8215 automatic with a power reserve of 42 hours in terms of power.
