Mariacarla Boscono and Perfume Genius (the stage name for Seattle-based solo act Mike Hadreas) engage in a military romance for the W Magazine March issue.
Fashion editor Edward Enninful didn't have to worry about dressing Perfume Genius, as he remained in uniform throughout the editorial. However, Enninful did dress Boscono, opting for ornate, flowery gowns that contrasted nicely against her lover's combatant attire. Hair stylist James Pecis, makeup artist Aaron de Mey and photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin rounded out the creative team.
