The Voltmeter Alarm Clock Displays Time Instead of Voltage

The Voltmeter Alarm Clock is a novel device, made by electronics manufacturer Awkward Engineer, that looks like an old-school voltmeter with the exception that it happens to display the hours and minutes rather than voltage information.

This device is equipped with a custom-made Atmel ATtiny circuit board that is controlled via microcontroller, an AM/PM indicator to keep you oriented as well as an optional backlight that allows you to use the clock in low-lit and dark conditions.

The Voltmeter Alarm Clock could make for a great Christmas present for the nerdy electrical engineer because of how intelligently put together it is. The device appears to be part of a resurgence in nerdy and geeky gadgets for the unabashedly proud nerd.
