Enlivening Fashion Editorials

The Vogue Japan ‘Pure Simplicity' Shoot Stars Denisa Dvo

Spring is a time to dream about simple pleasures like backyard barbecues, garden parties and lounging on decks; the Vogue Japan ‘Pure Simplicity’ editorial brings all of these activities to mind in a, well, simple manner. With a white deck as its backdrop, and hints of a lush green lawn, the photo shoot showcases some refreshing spring fashion.

The Vogue Japan Pure Simplicity editorial was lensed by Japanese fashion photographer Yasunari Kikuma. Shot for the magazine’s April 2012 issue, the photo shoot stars model Denisa Dvorakova. The Czech beauty was styled by Satoshi Hirota, who chose a bright wardrobe filled with abstract prints and lightweight knits. The predominantly yellow and green palette is rejuvenating. Dvorakova’s slicked back hair was done by Taku with makeup by Yuki.
