This amazingly shocking photoshoot from Vogue Italia and Steven Meisel is definitely one that needs a second glance. Etitled 'Water & Oil,' this series features a blackened, oil-slicked model posing on a rocky shore.

With models wearing feathers and animal-esque accessories to represent the the devastated creatures affected by the spill, Vogue Italia and Steven Meisel have done a fabulous job at recreating a horrific event in a beautiful way.
