Co-op Partners With VoCoVo S5 Pro Headsets

VoCoVo introduced its Series 5 (S5) Pro Headsets to Co-op in a new five-year partnership, deploying the devices across more than 2,300 stores after a 114-store pilot, with rollout starting in February 2026. The S5 Pro Headsets provide always-on colleague connectivity, featuring hands-free voice comms and on-device controls designed to support safety and operational coordination on the shop floor.

Co-op said the upgrade replaces older headsets as part of a long-term investment in in-store tech and is expected to finish next year; the program aims to simplify daily tasks and speed staff responses. For shoppers and employees this means faster service and clearer emergency coordination, reflecting a broader trend of retailers adopting dedicated comms hardware to improve frontline efficiency and safety.
