Nike's Store Only Takes Air Max Credits Earned from Previous Purchases

— March 4, 2019 — Tech
Nike recently launched a virtual pop-up store that provides access to limited-edition items but with a catch—these exclusive products can only be redeemed using credits earned from previous purchases. The pop-up shop is accessible to all and has been launched along with the new Nike Air Max 720 style, although making a purchase requires shoppers to prove their loyalty to the sneaker brand.

When a shopper enters their order number for purchasing the new sneaker, they are able to see their Air Credits in a virtual wallet. In this space, users will be able to see and purchase merchandise like water bottles, socks and stickers with an AM720 theme.

In the virtual Nike pop-up store, consumers will be able to interact with sales assistants who are actually Nike collaborators like England footballer Raheem Sterling, DJ Peggy Gou and more.
