Onitsuka Tiger Launches a Street Fighter-inspired Sneaker

The availability of video game-inspired footwear has certainly sky-rocketed in recent years, with many brands persuing a sense of playful nostalgia or looking to tap a cult-y fanbase—from Red Wing's Super Mario Bros. Boots to the Minecraft x Crocs collection. Now, another video game-inspired footwear design enters the market and this one is made possible through a collaboration between Capcom and Onitsuka Tiger.

A special, limited-edition ENDACTUS sneaker silhouette will be made available to consumers soon. The piece celebrates and was custom-developed for the highly anticipated Street Fighter 6 game. While one can certainly purchase the exclusive sneakers in the real world, individuals can also interact with the design in the game. Players who have purchased the physical offering will be "gifted the Onitsuka Tiger digital interchangeable skin and collaborative ENDACTUS shoes in Battle Hub."
