Vacheron Constantin Drops a New Overseas Tourbillon with a Red Dial

Vacheron Constantin has added a new version of its Overseas Tourbillon to its lineup, distinguished by a deep red dial finish. The timepiece features a 42.5 mm case in stainless steel paired with a tourbillon-equipped mechanical movement that is visible through an aperture on the dial. The red surface is crafted with a sunburst texture intended to catch light at varying angles, and applied hour markers with polished finishes provide legibility against the dial plane.
The movement is an in-house calibre equipped with a flying tourbillon regulator, designed to improve isochronism by reducing the influence of gravity on the escapement. A power reserve indicator is positioned on the dial, and a subsidiary seconds display is integrated into the tourbillon cage at six o’clock. The watch is assembled with a combination of satin-brushed and polished surfaces on the case and bezel to create visual contrast.
The Overseas Tourbillon is fitted with a bracelet in matching stainless steel, finished with alternating brushed and polished links. An additional strap in rubber or leather is provided for alternative wear options, and quick-release mechanisms allow the wearer to swap attachments without tools.
