USA Triathlon & Buycycle Make the Sport More Accessible

USA Triathlon and buycycle recognize that affordability of sports equipment is a key barrier to participation for many and in a bid to make cycling more accessible to a greater audience, the two entities are partnering.

Born out of a passion for cycling, buycycle is known as "the world’s leading marketplace for pre-owned bikes" and the company will be USA Triathlon's Official Online Bicycle and Bicycle Component Marketplace throughout the 2025 season. Ben Pickel, USA Triathlon Senior Director of Foundation and Partnerships, expressed excitement about the collaboration: "We are excited to partner with buycycle in 2025 and see [its] marketplace help increase access to the sport of triathlon. By connecting sellers and buyers of quality used bikes and equipment, buycycle is helping to break down barriers and make the sport more accessible for athletes of all levels.”
