Ndoc Pitches One AI Workspace to Replace Office and Google Workspace

Ndoc is pitching a unified AI workspace that replaces the split workflow between the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace with a single place for team work. Built by Rohit Patel, the startup lets colleagues open the same document even if they are not signed up for Ndoc.

The layout centers on three parts, including a 'Stage' tab for presenting findings and a 'Model' tab for the underlying data and Python scripts. That structure keeps the final output tied to the source material, so teams can check the numbers behind a deck instead of treating the AI as a black box.

As of Tuesday, Ndoc was in an enterprise pilot and opening an alpha to wait-list users, with usage and token billing to follow. Exporting work as a browser-openable '.ndoc.html' file provides a cleaner path outside the app and could make file sharing less dependent on Office or Google formats.

Unified AI Workspaces
Consolidated document, data, and presentation environments create room for platforms that reduce app switching while preserving context across team workflows.
Source-linked Presentations
Decks connected directly to datasets, scripts, and analysis layers signal new demand for transparent outputs that make AI-assisted decisions easier to verify.
Portable Collaboration Files
Browser-openable file formats introduce alternative distribution models that lessen dependence on legacy productivity ecosystems and simplify external sharing.
