Some of the figures are easily identifiable as childhood cartoon characters such as Goofy and Winnie the Pooh, yet even these are just projections the viewer places on the artwork as it provokes distant memories. The chrome silver finish of the statues is symbolic of the shiny haze that surrounds all things we enjoyed as children, yet also marks the end of innocence as it leaves no room for the bright, cheery colors of youth.
