The Ulysse Nardin x URWERK UR FREAK unites two distinct display systems

The Ulysse Nardin x URWERK UR-FREAK unites two distinctive display systems by merging the flying carousel architecture from Ulysse Nardin with the wandering hours satellite layout that defines URWERK. The collaboration introduces a new movement called the calibre UN 241, which is developed specifically to allow both mechanisms to function together within one coherent display. The 44 millimetre sand blasted titanium case carries elements from each brand, including a crownless silhouette, a bezel-controlled setting function and bright yellow accents that add clarity to the dial.

The timepiece is produced in a limited run of one hundred examples and delivers a technical statement focused on movement, motion and mechanical expression. It pushes against conventional layouts by prioritising kinetic presence while remaining wearable for collectors who appreciate independent watchmaking. The project reflects a growing direction in the industry where creative houses collaborate to expand the boundaries of horology.
