Vanpowers has made a splash at CES 2024 with the introduction of the 'UrbanCross,' a gravel ebike that is designed to offer versatile riding on both gravel and road environments.

Weighing in at 17.6 kg, the 'UrbanCross' gravel ebike is fitted with a rear hub motor with a 250-watt capacity that is capable of producing 29.5 pounds-feet of torque, enabling the bike to go about attaining an electronically assisted maximum speed of 32 km/h. This particular gravel ebike also offers ingenious security tools in the form of vibration-detection and geo-fencing settings.

In the words of Darik Duan, head of research and development over at Vanpowers, this gravel ebike is an example of a two-wheeler that will "motivate us to continue to push the boundaries of smart ebike technology to enhance rider safety and security."
