Whether you've suffered through or enjoyed Ulysses, this Twitter-based Ulysses reading will interest you. The experiment took to the social media website for a reading of the classic novel over the course of a day.

Fans of the book volunteered to participate in the Twitter-based Ulysses reading, tweeting six times every 15 minutes. Instead of merely tweeting the whole book over again, the tweets are "a reimagining of the reading experience of this novel," says the project's creator Steve Cole. Lovers of the novel will definitely be itching for more of these modern recreations.

Although I'm not a big James Joyce fan, I can appreciate the integration of this classic novel with social media in keeping it alive in this modern day and age.
