Brooklyn-based artist Scott Lenhardt has put his 'Twenty Four Hour Woman' project on Kickstarter's public market. The pages come together to form a daily calendar for the 2013 year, described by the designer as a celebration of "...the women who make the world go around."
Lenhardt's visual experiments with femininity are both humorous and approachable. The naked woman struts about as she installs air conditioners and blow dries her hair, an ode to the everyday lives of countless women.
The funky tear-away illustrations began with an unlikely mission. Lenhardt aimed to improve his clarity, commencing each day in his studio with a new drawing. The 5" x 4" sheets represent the fruits of his daily labor, documenting his take on 365 domestic activities.
