Tsar Carpets' New Collection Boasts Bold Colors and Abstract Patterns

Tsar carpets launched its most experimental and bold rug collection to date. Titled the Forma collection, the line embodies "the dawn of a new beginning." It features 25 hand-tufted rugs completed with abstract shapes, bold colors, and unique material combinations.
The project was developed during the COVID-19 lockdown, and was inspired by the natural materials seen on daily lockdown walks - such as moss, rocks, and cracked earth. The notion of escapism informed the design, hence a strong color palette and bold use of abstract designs make up the Forma collection aesthetic.
The shapes and patterns of each rug are uplifting, imaginative, and experimental. Forma rugs are hand-tufted using New-Zealand wool, Tencel, ribbon yarn, and Lurex. Customers can work directly with Tsar carpets for custom alterations.
