Each design revisits archival Trina Turk and Mr Turk patterns, adapting their bold colors, geometric forms and midcentury influences through changes in scale and placement for flooring applications.
The collection allows FLOR to differentiate its rug portfolio through an established fashion aesthetic while giving Trina Turk another avenue to extend its design identity beyond apparel. With the collaboration now encompassing 12 styles, the partners can appeal to homeowners as well as commercial designers working across hotels, offices and other hospitality environments. Using archival patterns also creates opportunities to monetize existing creative assets while responding to demand for expressive, personalized interiors.
