TiVo and TELEV8 Partner to Deliver New Hotel TV Expereince

TiVo, a television entertainment company owned by Xperi Holding Corporation, has announced that TELEV8 will integrate its signature Managed IPTV Service to deliver personalized in-room entertainment experiences for hotels and other commercial spaces.

As a result of the partnership, TELEV8 will now introduce TiVo's content-first entertainment system to the hospitality industry, upgrading how these venues deliver linear programming. In addition, thanks to TiVo's Managed IPTV Service, hotel venues will now be able to offer premium television content at a much lower cost.

“Commercial venues are increasingly pressured to deliver on the rapid consumer adoption of streaming video applications and the introduction of app-based TV in partnership with TiVo is the future of content delivery... we are thrilled to work with TELEV8 to provide a timely solution to the hospitality industry," said Jeff Glahn, senior vice president of global sales at TiVo.
