Timex Japan Taps Mystery Ranch to Work on a New Wristwatch

Mystery Ranch is a company that creates combat gear and outdoor goods -- it recently works in collaboration with Timex Japan on a special timepiece. The duo take on the Field Watch as the base foundation to deliver militaristic elements to stay true to both contributing brands.

The updates seen on the watch include the matte-finished 42mm encasing and a bead-blasted strap that is complete in a hue recalling Mystery Ranch's collection of bags. The earthy color palette is contrasted with a white dial that lights up when the crown is pressed to showcase the 12-hour marks along the outer part of the rim and the 24-hour marks on the inner ring. The coyote brown straps are complete with Mystery Ranch's own webbing to round out the entire design.
