The Large Hadron Collider is helping physics make a huge comeback in popularity. Just after the completion of the maiden experiment for the world's largest particle accelerator comes the news that one of Albert Einstein's watches will be up for auction on October 16 at Auktionshuset Antiquorum.

Einstein's timepiece is expected to fetch around $35,000.

Implications - Like wine, style can become more appealing over time. Consumers who have money to spend are looking to buy not only the latest fashion pieces out there, but also the most historically significant. By owning a valuable piece of history, the owner gets a sense that they are in some way a part of style's past.
