Apple TV Plus members will soon be able to stream the time travel comedy series, Time Bandits. This is an adaptation of the 1981 film by Terry Gilliam with the same name. It will be available to watch on July 24th and this television version will be told through ten episodes. Apple explains that it is about “an unpredictable journey through time and space with a ragtag group of thieves and their newest recruit: an 11-year-old history buff named Kevin.”
The show is centered around a comedic script with stars including Jemaine Clement and Iain Morros as the co-showrunners. The executive producer and co-creator is Taika Waititi and the cast continues with Lisa Kudrow, Charlyne Yi, Kal-El Tuck, and more.
