Whenever I look at a Tim Biskup illustration, I’m overwhelmed with a sense of playfulness that seems to course through Biskup’s work into me. By simply staring at the images he creates, full of vibrant colors and a sense of experimentation, viewers inherently feel that Biskup is enjoying himself whenever he’s making art, and that thrilling sensation is then passed on to audiences. Tim Biskup’s illustrations are characterized by his polygonal rendering approach to depicting subjects. He pieces together images of Darth Vader and Astro Boy as though it was a store-bought puzzles that he enjoyed assembling.
