There are many organizational and mindfulness-enhancing platforms in the app store, but Arianna Huffington's digital unplugging app, Thrive Away, may be one of the more stress-reducing ones out there.
The Thrive Away app encourages users to enjoy their time away from the office, without having to worry about the ever-growing pile of e-mails that await them upon return. Thrive Away allows users to automatically respond to incoming emails with a prompt to e-mail an in-office coworker instead, or inform senders they need to send the message again after the date of the user's return. Instead of simply sending the conventional message regarding when the user will return and respond to the sender, Huffington's digital unplugging app goes one step further and deletes the incoming e-mail altogether.
This digital app ultimately frees the user from the "anxiety of having a mounting pile of e-mails" upon return from their relaxing vacations.
