Meta's 'Threads' Allows Users to Limit Political Content Shown

Shortly after rolling out an update on Instagram that allows users to hide political content on the platform, Meta is releasing a similar feature on its Threads platform. The new feature enables Threads users to set political content guidelines to either Don't Limit or Limit, with the former showing the feed as per usual, and the latter restricting political content according to the engagement patterns of the user.

This update follows the Trending Now update to Threads, showcasing Meta's commitment to ensuring its decentralized social media platform meets the needs of its diverse user base. This update is expected to roll out in the near future on the iOS and Android versions of the application.
