Gen X Clubbing Campaigns

The Testlist by Specsavers is the UK's First Club Guestlist for Over 50s

Research shows that nearly three quarters of people over the age of 50 still attend live music events, and almost a quarter go out as often as they did 20 years ago, so The Testlist by Specsavers was created to reach Gen X as the UK’s first club guestlist series exclusively for people 50+. To enter for complimentary tickets and land a coveted spot on the guestlist, people over the age of 50 need to take a free, three-minute online hearing screener.

The campaign is fronted by Groove Armada, and both members of the electronic duo have experienced hearing loss themselves. Fittingly, Groove Armada is also headlining the first Testlist event, a DJ set at London’s Phonox in October, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Superstylin’. Naturally, Specsavers will provide hearing protection on the evening.
