The Root Project Supports Foundational Root Care for Healthier Hair

A healthy head of hair starts at the root, and The Root Project is a new haircare brand that specifically supports foundational haircare. This clean haircare brand formulates products in accordance with Credo Beauty's clean standards and makes the most of 100% upcycled packaging.

The Root Project is debuting three products: the Clean Canvas detoxifying hair cleanser with scalp-stimulating peppermint, the Instant Pleasure hair moisturizer with smoothing Calabrian bergamot oil, and the Power Smooth softening hair mask with vitamin-rich pressed lemon to reduce fallout. Each of these products incorporates The Root Complex blend from the brand, which combines botanical-based and biomimetic ingredients.

"Many hair care options out there are effective, but they often complicate routines with extra steps," The Root Project co-founder and former Nars VP of global product development Lucrecia Jovel told WWD, "We see The Root Project as a step toward dialing it back, embracing the strength of simplicity."
