LNY-Inspired Luxury Fashion Capsules

Maison Margiela Honors the Snake with the Renewal Collection

Luxury fashion house Maison Margiela has unveiled its first-ever Lunar New Year capsule with the launch of the Renewal collection. The Parisian house honors the Year of the Snake ringing in at the end of this month.

The capsule is comprised of motifs that capture the festivities, weaving in notions of “auspicious symbolism with the profound ties between vision and reality, moon and earth, dreams and the passage of time.” The line is comprised of a hoodie, a tee, and a printed silk scarf to round out the options. The hoodie and tee are in cream and white colors printed with a Renewal graphic at the chest, depicting the lunar cycles and a full moon with a 'snake' embroidery in Chinese.
