The Overcast app for iOS devices has been updated with a number of different features, including the ability to skip a podcast intro or outro. The feature gives users the ability to select a number of seconds to skip at the beginning and end of a podcast. Users are able to customize the feature for each podcast they listen to. The feature allows users to only listen to the parts of a show they like, and it streamlines the podcast consumption process.
Other new features for the Overcast app include enhanced Voice Boost, which allows users to normalize the dialog in the media they consume.
Overall the new features will streamline the listening experience for Overcast users. The app is currently available for iOS devices, and it is free to all.
