The MoistureMeterSC, designed by Delfin Technologies, accurately measures skin surface hydration. Using the capacitive measurement principle, the device can be used to evaluate skin care treatments. A built-in pressure sensor accompanies the capacitive measurement principle for a well-rounded evaluation.

The moisture meter works by taking the thickness of the stratum corneum skin later into consideration, which varies by body and area. All of these factors are taken into account for maximum accuracy. The wireless device is fast and easy to use and is non-sensitive to electrolytes.

To measure the skin’s dielectric constant, the MoistureMeterSC utilizes a precise (1.25 MHz) electromagnetic field. The measuring tool is ideal for personal care and pharmaceutical companies around the world for a wide range of applications, including research studies.
