Team17 Announces the Release of 'The Knight Witch' Game

In partnership with Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team, Team17 has announced the ‘The Knight Witch,’ a new fast-paced shooter game that is slated for release on all major gaming platforms. Players will be able to choose what weapon they wield: Rayne’s magic, or her weapons and wits. Items are eligible for upgrades for a faster-paced gaming experience, or to strengthen Rayne’s magic and deckbuilding strategies.

The game features Forward-Thinking Accessibility, a Metroidvania without barriers; with an intuitive on/off ‘auto-aim’ system, world-altering “cheats” and a focused main story navigation system. This customization option allows players to tailor the game to the type of experience they want.

The Super Mega Team is known for popular titles like ‘RiME,’ ‘Moonlighter,’ and ‘Plants VS. Zombies.’ Although a release date for ‘The Knight Witch’ has not yet been confirmed, the ‘metroidvania bullet-hell’ is slated for a release sometime in 2022.
