The Gift Refinery is a woman-run Canadian company that expertly curates gift boxes that spotlight a selection of full-size and high-quality lifestyle products from local makers and artisans.

Company founder Jessica Avellino is a former nurse with a love for all things selfcare, which inspired her to create her own giftboxes so that she could share some of her favorite products with her customers. The Gift Refinery curates new gift boxes every season, providing its subscribers over $200 CAD in products they'll love every March, June, September, and December, for just under $100 per box. Those looking to trial the service or just receive one box that they gift to a loved one can also take advantage of the one-time box purchase.

The Gift Refinery is currently shipping its December box, which comes with seven products that are valued at more than $320. This includes a set of polymer clay earrings from Bec Design, a versatile day oil from Evrēdā that's suitable for all skin types, and BERG + BETTS' Mindful Watch.
