Artfully Dynamic Collaborative Mules

tareet and ASICS Join Forces on a Pair of Hybrid Mules

ASICS works in collaboration with the French brand tareet to create a unique hybrid model that is better described as a mule. The silhouette is essentially a babouche, which is a style of a Moroccan slipper that is inspired by a moccasin. The designer saw this during their upbringing in Marseilles and the collaborative work with ASICS ensures that it is much more than a slipper.

The upper is made from ASICS mesh material for a seamlessly breathable build. The mules are made with woven soles at the base and upcycled canvas at the enclosure for a sustainable approach. Additionally, the collaboration also features an all-black leather sneaker model that has zipper enclosures, a soccer jersey with patchwork detail, and a shoulder bag with a dramatic leather strap.
