The newest Tanya Taylor Fall 2018 collection focuses on delivering simple silhouettes for high levels of practicality. Taylor describes the fall capsule as "unfussy and uncomplicated" and takes inspiration from both Suzanne Duchamp and Hannah Höch, two dadaist artists. The two exude a bold personality that also comes off as avant-garde and unconventional. This idea is translated onto garments with the use of multicolored pattern designs and unique patchwork details.
The Tanya Taylor Fall 2018 Line works with graphic patterns that accent fluid pieces draped with asymmetrical silk satin fabrics. There are also colorful sequinned details to make loud statements embellished onto midi skirts, or are muted in the case of a simple gray wool sweater. The range of colors and fabric materials captivates attention, while still maintaining simplicity with its basic silhouettes.
