The tankless water heater can run without electricity, and is instead ignited and powered by two "D" cell batteries, making off-the-grid use -- in the woods, campsites or around the house -- a simple task.
The package comes with adapters required to attach a standard garden hose nozzle and a propane tank, which has to be self-provided. The portable, compact 13-pound tank measures 20 by 4.5 by 12 inches. As long as the tank has a 2-inch clearance from a wall and 18 inches from the ground, as well as away from any flammable materials, the tankless water heater is perfect for bringing the comforts of home with you outdoors.
