The Spur Magazine Takaki Kumada Photoshoot Includes Bold Prints

The Spur magazine February 2015 editorial produced by photographer Takaki Kumada delivers a series of images brimming with patterns and prints. Model Kia Low is at the heart of the series which displays an assortment of shapes and cuts to viewers of the high end publication.

Stylist Tomoko Iijima pulled together varying elements for this Spur magazine series. The dresses, shoes and jackets selected by Iijima each featured bold designs, seen in alien heads, polka dots and animal graphics, making for a memorable display of fashion.

In addition to these in-your-face motifs, Iijima also included more subdued themes, seen in clean yellow-hued coats, beige trousers and thin, fitted turtlenecks. No matter the pieces showcased, there is an evident appeal to feminine dress with modern twists.
