Passively-Cooled SSDs

Crucial's T700 Gen5 SSDs are Now Available for General Consumers

Crucial launched its all-new T700 Gen5 SSDs, which are fast and powerful solid-state drives that use the newest PCIe 5.0 interface and a new type of NAND technology from Micron. They can read and write data at speeds up to 12.4 GB/s and 11.8 GB/s respectively, which are almost twice as fast as the older PCIe 4.0 SSDs.

These SSDs are available in storage capacities of 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB , and each come with a special heatsink for better cooling and performance. They also support Microsoft DirectStorage, which helps load high-quality textures and assets faster in games. The Crucial T700 SSDs work with Intel 13th Gen and AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs and can also fit in PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 systems.
