Dessert-Inspired Collaborative Shoes

Randomevent and New Balance Join on Sweetness of Kin Shoe

Chinese imprint Randomevent is the latest to join forces with New Balance as the two present a new iteration of the 1906 sneaker model with the Sweetness of Kin palette. The two brands draw inspiration from sweet desserts for the latest shoe, which is applied in the form of its construction as well.

The shoes are made with a layered build to replicate the cake layers. The various layers open up opportunities for materials and depth starting with a spongy mesh foundation in a crisp cream tone. It is overlaid with leather on top with a soft buttery feel. The N logo can be seen on the side of the shoe for more dimension and branding.
