The Catharine Wheel pair, for example, is named after both the torture device from the middle ages and the present-day pinwheel toy for children.
The design palette for each pair features bright and funky designs with a feminine ruffle along the top that just grazes the ankle. Many of the items are stitched from locally milled cotton from a family farm.
