Atelier Kaiser Shen designs a minimalist and sustainable German home called Haus Hoinka. The structure is located in a little village that is currently being revitalized and re-populated. The village is full of structures from the 16th and 17th centuries and hence, this aesthetic was a key driving force for the architecture firm.
Sustainability was a key pillar for the design of Haus Hoinka. Atelier Kaiser Shen used " natural and renewable materials that can be released into the natural cycle once again later."
