Craghoppers Celebrates 100 Million Recycled Plastic Bottles

Craghoppers, the outdoor clothing brand established in 1965, is celebrating a huge sustainability milestone in the Summer of 2023. The company, which has made sustainability a pillar of its operations, has announced that it has recycled over 100 million plastic bottles. Brand Director James McNamara noted that "reaching this milestone is a huge step for Craghoppers."

This is not only an important sustainability milestone for Craghoppers but also an encouragement to other brands who are looking to develop more conscious production efforts. While Craghoppers implements recycled materials in its outdoor product range without compromising on performance, the brand also continues to innovate in this space. For instance, Craghoppers' water-repellent technology—known as EcoShield DWR, utilizes "63% renewably sourced content from a variety of plant-based sources."
