Sail the seven seas without hurting Mother Nature with the Super Nova 60. This yacht was designed by Sauter Carbon Offset Design to be able to cruise 7,000 nautical miles running off of self-generated energy.

The Super Nova 60 uses a variety of eco-friendly energy generators to power itself. Photovoltaic cells and kinetic energy sails are just two of the ways that this super yacht stays afloat and carbon neutral.

Implications - The Super nova 60 is essentially an environmental and technological marvel, with a Mercedes Benz BlueTec diesel electric drive supported by full rotational wingsails. The piece also has power sailing and a 650 square meter solar cell. Pair this with a plug-in lithium ion storage system and uninterruptible power supply, and this is one eco-conscious machine.
