Photographer Xanthe Hutchinson attempts to capture the ephemeral nature of summer in this exclusive C-Heads editorial. Appropriately titled 'Summer in My Heart,' the editorial is an ode to the short, but very, very sweet, season.
Hutchinson explains, “This piece was inspired by the warm and fleeting nature of summer and my desire to somehow preserve it, keep it with me forever. I wanted to bring the heat, the blooms and the heady possibility of youth together in a kind of photographic amber.” Hutchinson's goal is an admirable one, and one which we can all relate to -- because who hasn't wished that summer stuck around a little longer?
The creative team was completed by stylist Persia Beheshti, makeup artist Jessica Mejia, hair stylist Paula McCash and set designer Sarah Gobourne. Models Mimi and Natalia from Models1 and Elite did their best to sustain the feeling of summer.
