Some would call this the perfect chair for Commander Kirk. Those people would be wrong. This obviously is meant for a lower life form who is only capable of making such decisions as to which command to execute. This design is the Daybed from Manuelsaez, designed for its client, Humanscale. Those of us who labor over small computers precariously balanced on unopened mail lust for this design to be brought to market quickly.

Implications - Although complicated design aesthetics are important, consumers are still looking for modern designs that provide minimalist products that are highly functional. Companies should take this pattern and create products that focus more on the uses of the product or good instead of the way that it looks to the consumer.
