Razer's 'Strider Chroma' Mouse Mat Blends Soft and Hard Mouse Mats Together

Razer released its first RGB-enabled mouse mat since the 'Goliathus Chroma,' titled the 'Strider Chroma.' The Strider Chroma is intended to be an improved version of the Goliathus with enhanced features, both performance-wise and aesthetics-wise. Firstly, the Strider Chroma is a hybrid soft and hard mouse mat, boasting an excellent combination of smooth mouse motions and fast mouse stops.
The Strider Chroma is not simply a soft mouse mat with a hard coating, though, as the company stated its build quality is far greater than this. Razer noted that coated mouse mats often deteriorate over time, but ensured customers that its Strider Chroma is ultra long-lasting. To make the mouse mat last even longer, the Strider Chroma is water-resistant, stain-resistant, and warp-resistant.
In terms of its aesthetics, the Strider Chroma is an all-black mouse mat with a lightbar along the edges. This lightbar features 18 unique LED zones that can be controlled through Razer's Synapse software to display more than 16.8 million different colors. This is an upgrade from the Goliathus that features only one lighting zone.
